Am Sonntag war in meiner Gemeinde in Rappi Taufe. Es war total ermutigend von den sieben Täuflingen zu hören, wie sie Jesus begegnet sind. Jede Geschichte war anders, jede war faszinierend. Zwei Ehepaare, völlig aus dem krassen Leben heraus, ein Alkoholiker, ein Muslim, … alle wurden von Jesus angesprochen und in eine lebendige Beziehung mit ihm gestellt. Begeisternd, wie Gott Geschichte schreibt- wie er Menschen nicht loslässt, bis sie ihm vertrauen und ihm ihr Leben und die Regie überlassen.
Nachdem sie ihre Berichte erzählt hatten, gingen wir an den Zürichsee wo die eigentliche Taufe stattfand. Bei sonnenschein konnten wir in einer schönen Atmosphäre diese Taufe erleben.
Last sunday there was the baptism of seven people of my church in Rappi. It was so encouraging to hear the stories how God called them and they trusted Jesus to be their saviour. Two couples, a alcoholic, a muslim, people with catholic background, … all of them were saved and testified with this baptism that Jesus is their Lord. It was amazing to hear everyones story and to see how God had changed their lifes.
After we’d heard these we went to „lake constanz“ to have the baptism. With sunshine over the lake we had a great atmosphere and a scienic backround with the mountains.
